BigLaw Lawyers Filling Trump Administration Posts

This week several names were added to the list of BigLaw lawyers nominated to fill positions in the Trump administration, most notably King & Spalding partner Christopher Wray’s nomination to direct the FBI. Trump also announced plans to nominate Kirkland & Ellis partner Brian Benczkowski to head the Justice Department’s criminal division; Dechert litigation partner Steven Bradbury to general counsel of the Transportation Department; Greenberg Traurig shareholder Robert Charrow to general counsel of the Department of Health and Human Services; and McGuireWoods partner Carlos Muniz for general counsel of the Education Department.
