Architects Unveil ‘Law Firm Of The Future’

A 5,000-square foot temporary office set-up at the Association of Legal Administrators conference in Toronto this week displays the “law firm of the future,” architecture firm Gensler claims. Gensler, which has worked with several Washington, D.C. law firms that have relocated in recent years, designed the office to have a more open floor plan, more equitable office space for associates and partners and communal areas where attorneys from other offices may work while visiting. The design is the result of two years of work between nearly 40 designers at the firm. Tours of the space will be offered at this week’s conference.
