Appeals Court Defends Devices On During Takeoff

Air passengers can continue using devices during takeoff and landing, after an Association of Flight Attendant’s challenge to the FAA rule change was struck down by the D.C. Court of Appeals. The AFA claimed the FAA overstepped its authority by changing the rule without going through the proper steps. The D.C. Appeals Court disagreed.
