Akin Gump announced that Michael P. Kahn has joined the firm as a partner in its intellectual property practice in New York. Kahn is an experienced trial lawyer who focuses on patent infringement disputes and related claims, such as trade secret misappropriation, unfair competition and breach of contract. He comes to Akin Gump from Ropes & Gray, where he was a partner. Kahn started his career at Fish & Neave, prior to its combination with Ropes & Gray.
