Aflac Promotes Audrey Boone Tillman To GC

Aflac has announced the promotion of Audrey Boone Tillman to general counsel. She is based at the company’s Columbus, Ga. headquarters and will take over the role following a transition period. Tillman joined Aflac in 1996 as a member of the legal department and was promoted to second vice president the following year. She has also held the roles of vice president and senior associate counsel, senior vice president, director of human resources and is currently executive vice president of corporate services. Before joining Aflac, Tillman served as an associate professor at North Carolina Central University School of Law and between 1990 and 1993 was an associate at Smith Helms Mulliss and Moore in Greensboro, North Carolina.
