Adebayo O. Ogunlesi Named Lead Director Of Goldman Sachs

James J. Schiro, the lead director of Goldman Sachs, has retired and will be replaced by Adebayo O. Ogunlesi. Ogunlesi, who joined the board in 2012, is the managing partner and chairman of Global Infrastructure Partners, a private equity firm that invests in infrastructure. He was previously an executive at Credit Suisse and a lawyer at Cravath, Swaine & Moore. In addition to serving as lead director of Goldman, he will become head of the corporate governance committee. Schiro has retired from the board of the Wall Street bank to undergo medical treatment.
