A Million Bucks For A Virus-Infected Laptop

As part of an art project sponsored by a cybersecurity company, a laptop computer has been purposely infected with six of the worst computer viruses known to man: WannaCry, BlackEnergy, ILOVEYOU, MyDoom, SoBig, and DarkTequila. The computer will be disabled when delivered and will come with a disclaimer. At auction, as of late last month, the bid was more than $1.2 million. The money will go to online artist Guo O Dong, who says he’s considering burning it.
