U.S. Navy Think Tank Warns Of Global Warming Threat

A report issued in June by the Center for Naval Analyses and the London-based Royal United Services Institute recommends, on security grounds, more attention to addressing global warming through strategies like energy efficiency and use of renewable energy sources, and an end to a fixation on domestic drilling in the United States. The report takes U.S. politicians and policy makers to task for inaction and for ignoring scientific evidence.
