Big Shareholder Group Seen As Sleeper-Player in Governance Battles

It’s the largest asset manager in the world and largest single shareholder in one in five U.S. companies, but the name garners little public recognition. Traditionally it hasn’t been a shareholder activist and it has been strongly criticized on account of that, but there have been signs it’s stirring, according to a recent article.
