California, where state legislation often become a nationwide model, has recently passed a number of internet and cybersecurity laws. This post from cybersecurity company SiteLock looks at California’s new privacy law, its controversial net neutrality law, and the state’s first of its kind Internet-of-Things law, which was passed in August and goes into effect in January of 2020.
