Brien Wassner to Shearman & Sterling as an M&A Partner

Brien Wassner has joined Shearman & Sterling as an M&A partner in New York. Wassner comes to the firm from Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy where he was a corporate partner. Wassner has extensive experience advising private equity sponsors, domestic and multinational privately held and publicly traded entities, hedge funds, venture capital funds and financial institutions on a wide range of corporate transactions and business combinations.
