Data That Shows What Climate Change Will Really Mean

A post from McCarter & English points out that the politics of global warming is generally not what clients seeking business advice care about. They want information that will help them solve problems. Clients that have real property and/or a real financial interest in property, or in any enterprise that has a physical location, will need to understand how climate change is going to affect that physical location and property. To garner that understanding, they need to see data, not listen to politicians “debate.” With that in mind, this post includes links to sites that could be helpful, including Climate Central, which has an interactive “Surging Seas Risk Zone Map” that includes part of the United States where the issue hasn’t gotten much attention. But, for those interested, this post also includes a link to a Business Insider article that lays out the views on climate change from Donald Trump, in part by collecting some of his tweets on the subject.
