Hacker of Bush, Clinton Email Accounts To Plead Guilty

The man responsible for hacking personal email accounts that revealed Hillary Clinton’s habit of using a personal email account for government business, and exposed former President George W. Bush’s personal paintings to the public, is expected to plead guilty in a U.S. court this week. Romanian Marcel Lehel Lazar, known online as Guccifer, was charged in 2014 with cyber-stalking, aggravated identity theft and unauthorized access of a protected computer. He was extradited to the U.S., and last year told journalist Matei Rosca, “I’ll plead guilty, no problem.”
