Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, who died Feb. 13, will be remembered for shaping legal thought. But his legacy also includes being named funniest member of the Court by one Boston University law professor who did an actual ranking of justices who elicited laughter at oral arguments. Scalia “won the competition by a landslide,” he said. The Wall Street Journal lists a few of Scalia’s best wisecracks, from oral arguments and dissents, including his common refrain when asked about the 2000 Bush v. Gore case: “Oh, get over it.”
