“Muslim-Free” Gun Range Sued By Muslim Reservist

After an army reservist got turned away from a shooting range in Oktaha, Oklahoma, he sued in federal court under state law and the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Plaintiff Raja’ee Fatihah claims he was rejected because of his Muslim religion. The defendant’s attorney says it was because he was antagonistic, but there appears to be solid evidence that the Save Yourself Survival and Tactical Gun Range does, or did, have a posted sign that said it was a “Muslim free establishment,” a declaration that many local residents are said to have found offensive. Fatihah is a former public liaison for the University of Oklahoma Police Department.
