Popular two-wheeled scooters called ‘hoverboards’ have a nasty habit of bursting into flames, which has already made their producer, Swagway, the subject of lawsuits. Personal injury lawyers nationwide are looking to get in on the litigation, including at least one class action suit filed in New York. Swagway’s scooters are also the target of infringement claims from other scooter sellers, and a trademark fight from Segway, Inc.
