Ex-Football Coach Sues USC

The University of Southern California failed to give former head football coach Steve Sarkisian the appropriate time off to seek treatment for alcoholism before firing him in October, Sarkisian claims in a discrimination lawsuit. After appearing to be intoxicated at a fundraising event in August, Sarkisian struggled to control his drinking. “Alcoholism is a recognized disability under California law,” Sarkisian’s lawyer told TMZ, and his client has completed treatment and is ready to return to coaching.
