All Air Carriers Vulnerable To Cyber Attacks, Polish Airline Warns

The head of Poland’s flagship airline LOT, which over the weekend had to ground 1,400 passengers after hackers infiltrated the ground computer systems used to issue flight plans, warned the same thing “can happen to anyone anytime.” The cyber attacks happened on Sunday, and led to the cancellation of 10 flights. “This is an industry problem on a much wider scale, and for sure we have to give it more attention, if it can be given more attention,” Sebastian Mikosz said at a press conference.
