SCOTUS’ Ginsburg Denied $10 Bill Consideration

One major factor excludes Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg from consideration as the new face of the $10 bill: she is still alive. Above the Law’s Joe Patrice had made the case for Ginsberg, but the Treasury Department is excluded by federal law from selecting a living American for representation on currency. Other women whose names are being discussed include Eleanor Roosevelt, Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, and Abigail Adams – all deceased.
