Visions of artificial intelligence overtaking human lawyers are not very realistic, Richard Tromans writes in Bloomberg BNA. Instead, legal technology is likely to enable lawyers to do more client work – to be more productive and efficient – but won’t be able to replace human relationships or replicate the kind of trust lawyers establish with clients. “Lawyers, “those flesh and blood professionals with minds that exude creativity, legal insight and the imagination to solve very human problems,” won’t be replaced, Tromans says.
