Small looks at a difficult scenario: What should an attorney do when the client has committed or intends to commit perjury? This article, in the Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, looks at the issue in light of the Rules of Professional Conduct for the Massachusetts court system. “It is a real and a difficult dilemma,” the author writes: “To balance our obligation as advocates to zealously represent our clients, and our obligation as officers of the court to preserve the system’s integrity.”
