Appeals Court: Stan Lee Media’s Billion-Dollar Disney Lawsuit Dead In Water

The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals may have dealt the final blow to Stan Lee Media, a comic book company that argues its rights to comic book heroes the X-Men, Spider-Man and others were illegally raided in a decade-old bankruptcy. SLM, which was abandoned and successfully sued by iconic comic book creator and corporate namesake Stan Lee, has been pushing a billion-dollar lawsuit against Disney for alleged copyright infringement.
