Male-Dominated Tech Field A Hotbed Of Sexual Harassment Claims

A young, male-dominated startup scene may be partially responsible for the rash of sexual harassment claims that are hitting California’s tech companies. In the latest, a company named Zillow allegedly allowed a female employee to be relentlessly harassed, then fired her when she complained. Her suit accuses multiple supervisors of pervasive sexual harassment, including the inevitable picture message of a penis, allegedly sent by her supervisor. This is the third lawsuit filed against Zillow recently by the law firm Geragos & Geragos. The other claims include alleged unpaid overtime, and denied meal breaks.
