Indiana Supreme Court Upholds A Right-To-Work Law

The Indiana Supreme Court, reversing a lower court decision, has ruled that Indiana’s right-to-work law is constitutional. Signed by Governor Mitch Daniels in 2012, the law was challenged under a relatively obscure provision of the Indiana state constitution that prohibits the state from requiring services to be rendered without just compensation, explain Ogletree Deakins attorneys Charles B. Baldwin and Todd M. Nierman. They filed an amicus brief for the case on behalf of the Indiana Legal Foundation.
