Migrant Retirees Are A Growing Employment Pool

Retirees, either because they like the life style or out of economic necessity, are roaming the country in campers and RVs, doing short-term work for employers ranging from sugar beet growers and amusement parks to Amazon. They move from job to job, sometimes finding out about openings by way of postings at campgrounds or on Facebook. The trend has blossomed in the past few years, but now the average age of the migrants seems to be getting lower, with more of them in their 40s and 50s. Some employers are recruiting at RV shows.
