Does Anybody Want To Be Attorney General?

The President will have to act fast if he wants to replace Eric Holder as U.S. attorney general before the November elections, but to even get a name up for review he will need to overcome a major obstacle, according to an article in The Hill. It’s a “politically treacherous” job and there are good reasons not to take it, especially for anyone that harbors political ambitions. Several of the presumed possible candidates for the job declared they weren’t interested within hours of Holder’s announcement that he intended to leave.
