Claudia Toussaint Named GC Of Xylem Inc.

Xylem Inc. announced the appointment of Claudia Toussaint as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, effective October 29, 2014. Toussaint has served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of the Barnes Group Inc. for more than four years. Prior to her role at Barnes, she worked at Embarq, a Fortune 500 telecommunications company, as General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Ethics Officer before its acquisition by CenturyLink. She also held a number of positions of increasing responsibility at Sprint Nextel’s predecessor Fortune 100 companies. She started her career in Los Angeles as a transactional attorney at Morrison & Foerster, an international law firm.
