McGuireWoods Adds Ryan Purpura To Pittsburgh Office

McGuireWoods LLP has added energy lawyer Ryan Purpura to its Pittsburgh office. Ryan has significant experience with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, securities, and general corporate law, especially related to the oil and gas industry. Before joining McGuireWoods, Ryan was a shareholder in the energy practice of a national law firm, where he represented the interests of publicly traded and privately held companies, private equity funds and financial institutions involved in mergers and acquisitions, finance, project development and other transactions related to the energy industry. He also has served as in-house counsel to two natural gas companies, where he advised on a range of issues, including transactions, gas sale and marketing, matters business development, employee and labor matters, litigation and commercial agreements.
