Though some have suggested lagging investment in legal technology this year means the trend is fading, entrepreneur Basha Rubin says it’sjust beginning. Clients are unlikely to stop pushing for efficiencies, and technology to assist in research, review, and invoicing will continue to be in high demand. “Since law is an old profession with lots of entrenched, unique processes and behaviors, it will take a while for startups to figure out how to be more efficient than the current ways of working,” Rubin says. “But, they will come and revolutionize the way the business of law works.”
