Law Schools Shift Curriculum To Reflect Changing Market

To prepare graduates for a rapidly-shifting legal environment, some law schools are incorporating business education, entrepreneurship and emerging technology into curriculums. The New York Times highlights one example: the Reinvent Law Laboratory at Michigan State University. Proponents say law students seeing themselves as entrepreneurs will be better able to adapt to a rapidly changing economy and better understand their potential corporate clients. Offering such unorthodox programming may also help non-elite law schools attract students and graduates of those programs find positions.
