Groupon Snags Sears GC Dane Drobny

Dane Drobny, Sears Holdings Corp.’s general counsel, will leave that post for a job at Groupon Inc. Drobny, senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at Sears, will become GC at Chicago-based Groupon effective July 7. He will replace David Schellhase, who will remain with the company as a strategic adviser.
