In Disarray, Foreclosure Firm Is Evicted

Problems surfaced with the February departure of the chief financial officer, who has been involved in a string of legal problems since 1997. Now there have been three rounds of layoffs and the firm has been evicted from its offices, and some lawyers are claiming their checks have bounced. Connolly, Geaney, Ablitt & Willard, based in Woburn, Massachusetts, and with offices in Florida and Puerto Rico, has had a lucrative practice helping banks foreclose on homeowners.
