Gender Gap Persists In Billing Rates, Study Finds

Billing rates for female lawyers were about 10 percent lower on average than those  of their male counterparts, a study found, even among partners of similar levels of experience in the same market. The Sky Analytics report analyzed $3.4 million in legal work from more than 3,000 firms, and found that billing rates of female associates were also lower, about $27 less than that of male counterparts.
