EY Names Michael Solender GC

EY has appointed Michael Solender as Global Vice Chair and General Counsel to carry out the global reorganization of the EY legal function and integrate EY’s internal legal operations worldwide. Since 2009, he has served as EY’s Americas Vice Chair and General Counsel, as well as General Counsel of Ernst & Young LLP in the US. Before that, he served as general counsel of major financial institutions, including The Bear Stearns Companies Inc., and of the US Consumer Product Safety Commission. He has also been a partner at the law firm Arnold & Porter and taught at Yale and Harvard Law Schools.
