DOJ Adds Marshall L. Miller To Criminal Division

Marshall L. Miller, a federal prosecutor in Brooklyn, has been named principal deputy and chief of staff to the Justice Department’s criminal division leader. Currently David O’Neil is serving as director on an interim basis, but Leslie Caldwell, the White House’s choice to lead the criminal division, is expected to eventually take over the operation. Caldwell’s nomination cleared the Senate Judiciary Committee but has yet to receive full Senate approval. In his role, Miller will help oversee a broad caseload and about 600 prosecutors. Miller worked as head of the criminal division at the United States attorney’s office in Brooklyn.
