Chris Beard Named Interim CEO Of Mozilla

Chris Beard has been named interim CEO for Mozilla Corporation, in light of the recent controversial departure of co-founder Brendan Eich, Executive Chairwoman Mitchell Baker announced. Beard has been with the company for nearly a decade, first responsible for leading the Mozilla product, marketing and innovation teams and more recently, serving as CMO, leading user, developer and community engagement activities globally, including the initial launches of Firefox on Android and Firefox OS at MWC.
