Teladoc Names Thomas G. Seaman GC

Teladoc, the nation’s largest telehealth provider, has named Thomas G. Seaman as senior vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer. Seaman will oversee all legal, compliance and regulatory matters, and will serve as secretary of the company’s board of directors. Seaman joins Teladoc after serving as the general counsel of Best Doctors, Inc., a medical information services and health insurance company in Boston. Previously, he served as the general counsel for BenefitPoint Corp., a health benefits and insurance brokerage e-commerce platform in San Francisco. Before becoming an in-house counsel, he practiced law at Shearman & Sterling.
