Transgender Student Can Use Restroom Of Choice, Maine High Court Finds

A Maine school cannot ban a transgender student who is biologically male but identifies as a girl from using the girls’ restroom, the state’s high court has decided. Under Maine law, discrimination is not allowed based on sexual orientation, including gender identity or expression.
