Jennifer Peters Named COO Of LifePoint Hospitals

LifePoint Hospitals has named Jennifer C. Peters as vice president and chief operations counsel. In that role, Peters will oversee how LifePoint’s legal department meets the operational needs of the company’s hospitals and physician practices. Peters joins LifePoint from Simplex Healthcare where she served as general counsel, secretary and chief compliance officer. Prior to Simplex, she was vice president and associate general counsel at Community Health Systems.
