NLRB Won’t Push Union Poster Rule

Businesses are claiming an important victory in a case many see as decisive in their effort to curtail burdensome workplace regulations: The National Labor Review Board decided not to appeal federal court decisions that found the Board had overstepped its bounds in requiring employers to display posters about union rights. National Association of Manufacturers president Jay Timmons said the rule would have created a hostile work environment by “injecting politics” into every-day life on the job.
