Microsoft Won’t Name CEO Until 2014

Microsoft’s board announced it would not be ready to name a new CEO until early 2014. Chairman of the board’s search committee, John Thompson, said they have identified over 100 possible candidates, but have narrowed the list to 20. The board has until August 2014 to find a replacement for Steve Ballmer, who is retiring.
