Business Issues On Ballots Nationwide

Though off-year elections rarely draw a large turnout, interest groups have spent millions on several hot-button business issues on the Nov. 5 ballot across the country. Campaigns of interest include an effort to raise the minimum wage in New Jersey and in a suburb of Seattle, to assign taxes to marijuana sales in Colorado, and to require companies to label genetically modified food.
